Were you thrilled that you won first place in that race? Did you cry because you were too slow? Was it your favorite day of all year? Did your class win (the ultimate) Tug-of-War?
Being able to think back and remember special moments about my very own childhood, is one of my favorite things about having children. As my daughters live their lives, experiencing situations for the first time, I often have "Oh yeah...I remember that!" moments. Moments that I would have never recalled if it weren't for my girls living it for their first time.
(*Okay friends, summer has begun and with all three at home, it has left VERY little time to myself. Very little time to blog. Please excuse me as I take this week to catch up here on the The Blue Eye)
Tug-of-War is serious! The "green" team was in the lead...they had great coaching from parents. Ha!
But, with true grit...
true heart...
true determination...
Mrs. Hebert's Huskies
Were VICTORIOUS!
And that will be a memory, she will NEVER forget!
