This past weekend was very relaxing and low-key for our little family. We did take a break from the usual chores to run errands in Austin and stopped for lunch at a place called Fresa's. This authentic place has the same kind of ease as the typical drive-through/fast food joints however they offer healthier options that taste great and will keep you coming back for more. Just typing this post is making me want to hop in the car and go get some lunch! They also offer fresh and fun margarita mixes to go! How cool is that? You can grab lunch and a pre-dinner cocktail to share with neighbors...yes and yes please!
Another fun option for this place would be to pick the food up and head out to Zilker Park for a delicious picnic. It would also make for a fun early date night!
My suggestion is to try the Mexican Coke. I typically don't drink sodas but the sugary pop went well with the smoked chicken.
Next time you need a quick stop to satisfy your hunger remember to look for the big chicken!
