Track and Field Day

It's the BEST day of the year!  I love watching the girls experience good 'ol fashion fun full of exercise and sun!  The competition brings out a bond between classes and therefore classmates.  I appreciate the fact that our school and school district has not gone PC on field day.  I have heard that most school districts in our area are enforcing the "non-competitive" rule, which includes no ribbons for first place, no tug-of-war and absolutely no races...excuse me while I yawn!  Are you kidding me???  Let them be little, let them be kids of nature, let them experience the simple joys of winning and lessons of losing.  Let. Them. Be.
